Iranian naval ships enter Mediterranean via Suez

The Iranian state news agency quoted the commander of the Iranian Navy, Admiral Habibolah Sayyari, as saying that Iranian naval ships entered the Mediterranean Sea on Saturday after crossing through the Suez Canal.

Sayyari did not mention the number or nature of the ships participating in this operation, the second in one year, aiming to “display the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran”.
