Juppe: French interference in Libya is an investment for the Future

French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said that French interference in Libya is “an investment for the Future”.

Juppe added that Colonel Muammar Gaddafi had for long seized Libya’s wealth and controlled gold stocks saying that all this wealth should be used to develop Libya.

“A developed thriving Libya will play the part of a balancing agent in the region”, Juppe said.

“We have been duped into thinking that despotic regimes are the best way to ward off extremism but all this is over now”, Juppe said.
