Assets released to the NTC

Italian Foreign Minister Franco Fratini said that the Italian government released 500million euros for the benefit of the National Transitional Council in Libya.

Fratini added that Italy will transfer the frozen assets next week and might give additional amounts to the rebels in order to assure the establishment or a proper rule.

On the 25th of August Italy released 350 million euros to the Libyan NTC
