9 dead in Delhi blast

At least nine people have died and forty-five wounded in a blast outside Delhi’s High Court on Wednesday, a senior Indian home ministry official said.

U.K.Bansal, in charge of internal security at the home ministry, told the CNN-IBN television channel that "as of now we have learnt that nine people ... are dead".

Bansal was reported as saying that the bomb was allegedly hidden inside a briefcase.
