Israel faces tough report on Marmara ship
One again the Israeli leadership stands before the Hebrew state’s comptroller, accused of military mishaps including murder. This according to a report written by Micha Lindenstrauss, pertaining to the siege of the Marmara ship which left 8 dead and dozens wounded, which according to Lindenstrauss, proves that the leadership had taken swift and irresponsible decisions.

The report placed PM Benjamin Netanyahu at the center of blame alongside his minister of Defense Ehud Barak. The report came in conjunction with results of the investigations into the war with Lebanon and Gaza. The conclusion of all reports say, that there was no real coordination between responsible parties. It continued to say that both Barak and Netanyahu ignored the warnings of then IDF Army Chief Gabi Ashkenazi.

In his primary defense statement, Netanyahu denied Ashkenazi’s warnings dismissing that the latter had stated grave human and monetary losses should Israel go ahead with the war.
