Postcard reaches destination 50 years late

A Swedish man announced that he recently received a postcard that his sister sent to their deceased father about 50 years ago.

The man said the postcard bore a postmark from 1962, and arrived recently at his home.

"I didn't understand anything at first […] My father has been dead for 15 years," he said. "My sister sent it from a summer camp when she was 10 years old."

The post office said such delays in deliveries rarely occur.
