EU calls for a political solution in Yemen

The European Union called for a speedy political solution for the Yemeni crisis that will fulfill the people’s aspirations.

In a statement, EU spokesperson Katherine Ashton stressed the importance of signing and implementing the plan put forth by the GCC countries to overcome the crisis.

Ashton urged all concerned parties to show restraint and avoid any provocative actions.
