3 Qaeda suspects killed in an air raid in Sanaa

Security sources told AFP that 3 Qaeda suspects were killed on Wednesday night in a drone strike supposedly conducted by a US aircraft in the eastern part of the Yemini capital Sanaa.

Local sources also reported that Adnan Al Kadi who is suspected of being affiliated with al-Qaeda was killed with his two bodyguards when his car was hit by a drone strike.

Washington and Yemen's neighbor Saudi Arabia are keen to stop al-Qaeda and other Islamist militants strengthening their hold on a country which is close to major shipping lanes.
