Syrian opposition establishes National Council
The Syrian opposition announced from Istanbul the establishment of the United National Council including all national constituents. According to the opposition, the council will include Liberals, Muslim Brotherhood, local coordination committees, the Kurds and the Assyrians.  

In its constitutive act, Syria’s National Council stressed that any interference in Syrian domestic affairs requires our consent, for it represent the Syrian people.

The National Council condemned the sectarian mobilization policies and the acts of violence adopted by the Syrian regime, warning against a civil war that will be result of these practices. The act depicted the council as an independent sovereign body working side by side with all Arab and international bodies and governments.

The Syrian Human Rights Observatory said that the Syrian army took over Alrustan city in Homes, adding that fifty tanks left the city on Sunday.

A terrorist group targeted a freight train in the province of Edleb which injured the driver and his assistant and derailed three trailers off their track, according to SANA.
