Syrian government forces head toward Qamishli under US-backed agreement

Syrian security sources said government security forces moved toward the Kurdish-controlled city of Qamishli in northeastern Syria on Tuesday, continuing the implementation of a U.S.-backed agreement that places areas administered by the Kurds under Damascus’ control.
