Netanyahu condemns attack on mosque

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the attack staged by settlers against a mosque northern Israel, according to a statement issued by his office on Sunday. Netanyahu said that the pictures taken inside the mosque are appalling and do not reflect Israel’s true identity, voicing discontent over this sad event.

A mosque northern Israel was attacked early Monday morning, it was set ablaze and slogans covered the walls. This act of mayhem was described by the Israeli police as a very dangerous way to make the Israeli government pay the price of its decision to halt building settlements.
