Mekdad to UN: Syria the target of terrorists
Syria’s Deputy Foreign Minister Faysal Mekdad said that Damascus will hand the UN a list of 100 individuals killed by terrorists.   

Speaking before representatives of 47 countries in the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) that is studying the condition of Human Rights in Syria, Mekdad said that Syria is facing terrorist threats.  

“During the past seven months Syria has been facing the threat of a misleading media war filled with lies and deception”, Mekdad said.     

Mekdad underscored the importance of the municipal elections that will be conducted on December 12 as part of the reforms announced by Syrian President Bashar Assad.
