91 arrestees released in Jordan

A judicial source announced on Monday the release of 91 arrestees who were being held on charges of civil disobedience and inciting chaos during the protests which took over the country on the backdrop of raising fuel prices.

The Jordanian news agency quoted Attorney General of the State Security Court Judge Mohannad Hijazi whereby he confirmed the number of the released.

Prosecutors will continue with the process until tomorrow when another ten arrestees are expected to be released following the provision of guarantees.
