EU warns Iran of dire consequences

The European Union warned Iran of dire consequences if the accusations of plotting to kill the Saudi ambassador to the U.S. were proven to be true.

The EU Minister of Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton’s spokesperson said that the Union is not taking this case seriously, adding that if the accusations turned out to be true, it would be a clear violation of International Law and will have dire consequences under the International Criminal Law.
