Underwear bomber pleads guilty
The trial of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab ended Wednesday, just a day after it had begun, when, the accused abruptly announced that he would plead guilty to all of the federal counts against him.

The 20 year-old Nigerian citizen warned the U.S. that if it continues issuing blasphemous statements against the Prophet Mohammad and supporting those who are killing innocent Muslims catastrophic events will sweep the country.

“My behavior may have violated American law but it is in keeping with the Sharia. My efforts to harm Americans are retribution for American acts around the world, especially in Palestine and Somalia”, the young man said.

It is expected that the U.S. judicial system will sentence the Nigerian citizen to life.

Abdulmutallab was accused of trying to blow up a commercial airliner on Christmas day 2009 with a bomb sewed into his underwear.
