Ban Ki-Moon warns Israel of “provoking” international community

U.N. Chief Ban Ki-Moon accused Israel on Saturday of provoking the international community after approving new settlements in occupied East Jerusalem.

U.N. Spokesman Martin Nesirky said that the secretary general “is deeply concerned at continued efforts to advance planning for new Israeli settlements in occupied East Jerusalem," recalling the Quartet’s call for refraining from provocative acts.
