Car explodes in Libya's Benghazi leaving no casualties

Security sources said on Friday that a car belonging to a commander at the Defense Ministry known as Ayman Eriq exploded near al-Berka area in Benghazi, Libya's second largest city.

The sources said that the commander had received threats through his cell phone a few days back, and added that the explosion, which left no casualties, was triggered by a homemade bomb which had been placed under the car by an unknown group.
