Canada tells Israel to prevent conflict with Iran from spreading to the region

Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly said on Monday that she had informed her Israeli counterpart that the conflict must not spread to the region.

This comes after Israel repelled Iranian strikes with drones and missiles this week.

She added, "We are clearly pushing for de-escalation and we need to make sure that the conflict doesn't extend to the region."
