Man sets himself on fire in central Tunis

AFP reported on Tuesday that a man set himself on fire in central Tunis, hours before the country's lawmakers were expected to vote on a new government tasked with ending Tunisia’s political crisis.            

"This is a young man who sells cigarettes because of unemployment," shouted the man before burning himself on Habib Bourguiba avenue, according to a witness.          

The emergency service rushed to the scene and took the badly burned man who was still conscious to hospital.
