EU hails finalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan peace talks

On Friday, top European Union officials congratulated Armenia and Azerbaijan for finalizing a peace deal to end their decades-long conflict and urged them to sign the treaty soon.

European Council chief Antonio Costa said on X that it was "a decisive step towards the full normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the opening of the region."
