UK summons Iran envoy over Iranians accused of spying

The UK foreign ministry said Monday that it had summoned the Iranian ambassador after three Iranians were charged with spying for Tehran at the weekend.

"The UK government is clear that protecting national security remains our top priority and Iran must be held accountable for its actions," the Foreign Office said in its statement.
