UN chief calls for ending Syrians’ bloodshed

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called for an immediate end to the crackdown launched by the Syrian government against civilian protesters that has killed over 3,000 people from the beginning of March according to UN figures.

During his first visit to West Tripoli since February’s revolution that toppled late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, Ban told reporters that the bloodshed of Syrian civilians must end now.
