Yemen army kills 5 Qaeda members

An army official told AFP that Yemen’s army launched a volley of artillery fire in the southern region of Zinjibar on Saturday, killing five al-Qaeda members.

In his turn, a local official in the nearby town of Jaar, a known Al-Qaeda stronghold, confirmed that the bodies of five Al-Qaeda militants were transferred from Zinjibar to Jaar.
