Paris to hold talks over Syrian opposition’s request for protection

French foreign minister Alain Juppe said that France will hold talks with its partners at the U.N. over the call raised by the Syrian opposition to provide international protection for the residents of Homs.

Juppe told the journalists that the Syrian regime’s behavior is unacceptable, adding that it is no longer trustworthy.

On the other hand, Juppe said that France called on Iran to give up its nuclear program, on the eve of the IAEA’s report in this regard.

Juppe said that the Iranian nuclear program has military purposes, calling on Iran to abandon it.
