President Sleiman urges LAF to take all needed measures to defend border towns
President Michel Sleiman urged on Tuesday all parties to the conflict in Syria to keep their fighting away from the Lebanese border towns and their residents.        

In this regard, President Sleiman condemned the attack on the Bekaa towns of al-Nabi Sheet and Sariin, causing casualties as well as damages to houses and property.             

He also called on the Lebanese Army Command to take all the necessary measures to defend the border towns and to protect civilians "who are still paying the price of those conflicts".
