Fletcher to Aoun: The region will witness changes

British Ambassador to Lebanon Tom Fletcher said that the region would witness changes and challenges in the coming months. Fletcher added "I discussed important issues with MP Michel Aoun and I held discussions in the previous days with Lebanese officials", adding that he is optimistic about the Lebanese situation which would witness stability.

The Ambassador emphasized on Friday at Rabyeh after his meeting with Aoun the role of the British and the international community in supporting Lebanon and its stability. Fletcher congratulated the Lebanese on the occasion of Christmas, hoping that stability and peace would prevail over Lebanon.
