LF warns of security chaos on Lebanese Syrian border
The Lebanese Forces warned of any security chaos along the Lebanese Syrian borders due to the Lebanese government's ill-concern about controlling the borders.

The warning came on Friday by LF parliamentary bloc in the context of a meeting held under the chairmanship of LF head Samir Geagea at the latter's residence in Maarab.

The LF expressed fears that the Lebanese government might accuse some Lebanese citizens of terrorism, especially in Ersal, instead of giving directions to the Lebanese Army to safeguard the borders.

The Bloc stressed the necessity of dealing with the Syrians fleeing into Lebanon as refugees and respecting human rights and international pacts in this concern.

It regretted the Lebanese government's stances at the level of the Arab League or the international Security Council, saying that these stances had distorted the image of Lebanon before the Arab or international consensus.
