Sayegh to LBCI: The government cannot deal with the Syrian file

Former Minister Salim Sayegh described the statements of the Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn as being empty, wondering about the timing and the purposes about such claims especially that our current situation in Lebanon is tensed.

Sayegh told Nharkom Said on LBCI said that the comments of the President Michel Sleiman in this regard were more than correct as Sleiman managed to withdraw this issue from the media when he said that no political group in this country supports terrorism.

Sayegh saw that Ghosn cannot still claim that Al-Qaeda militants are present in North Lebanon as it is disrespectful for the President. On the other hand Sayegh said that the current government became unable to deal with the Syrian file, describing its stances as opposing with the Syrian interests.
