Ambassador Ali: Syria recovering quickly

Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim confirmed on Friday that “Syria is recovering very quickly and those who have bet on its fall will soon be disappointed.”

“Confronting the conspiracy against Syria helped the country realize the strengths of its people and draw support from its friends and brothers,” he added.

Following his meeting with Change and Reform Bloc Leader MP Michel Aoun, Ali said that “those who follow the reality on the ground will realize that Syria is the side yearning for stability and the country’s future.”

As he refused to go into the details of the Arab monitoring mission, Ali voiced optimism over the improvement of relationship between Syria and Lebanon.
