Youssef to LBCI: Cabinet mixes between economics and politics
Future Movement MP Ghazi Youssef said on Monday that the current government is mixing between economics and politics, adding that “any [wage] increase will be eroded and workers will not be able to benefit from it.”

Youssef told Nharkom Said TV show that “it is shameful to hear from Minister Fadi Abboud that he is against the wages plan; however, he voted in its favor.”

“Funds are being spent without budget”, he said, ruling out that the cabinet will approve the 2012 budget given the principles it adopts.

Youssef also confirmed that “it is the cabinet’s responsibility to refer the 2012 budget to parliament for examination.”

Referring to Aoun’s minsters Youssef said “they bring up fictitious issues to say ‘we are here; we are carrying out reforms.”
