LF delegation visits Arsal

A Lebanese Forces delegation headed by the Zahle bloc MPs visited Arsal. Their first stop was at the Future bloc’s office where they were greeted by a crowd of the bloc’s partisans.          

In this regard, MP Antoine Abou Khater said: We came from Zahle to stand by the residents of Arsal who have lost 300 victims. Arsal is the LAF’s sanctum, and we regret what MP Sleiman Franjieh said today. We stick to the Cedar revolution’s constants.           

MP Assem Araji said that what Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn is null and void, for Arsal is the city of resilience. He added that whenever Arsal is targeted, the entire country is targeted. “Sleiman Ftanjieh’s statement confirms that Arsal is being targeted, which means March 14 is being targeted as well.”             

The delegation then went to visit Arsal municipality’s building. Mayor Ali Mohammed Al Hojairi greeted it, criticizing the statements of both MP Sleiman Franjieh and Assem Kanso. “Arsal rests in the hands of the president of the republic, and its residents support the Syrian revolution”, he said.
