Hezbollah: Iraqi blasts new version of US vengeance

Hezbollah said that the series of crimes committed against the Iraqi people is a new version of a U.S. project to avenge the resounding defeat of their troops that ended with a humiliating withdrawal from Iraq.

The party said in a statement that the terrorists who committed these horrific crimes are cheap tools within the hands of America and insignificant details in the plot to sow seeds of strife among the Iraqi people to serve foreign interests; especially that some of these blasts targeted visitors of the holy shrines.

Hezbollah called on the Iraqi people of all colors and positions to thwart the plot targeting them and promote unity in the country.
