Jumblatt reiterates adherence to resistance in face of “enemy”

National Struggle Front Leader MP Walid Jumblatt confirmed on Monday that the implementation of the Arab initiative to the letter is the sole exit out of the Syrian crisis.

During his weekly column in Al-Anbaa daily, Jumblatt said that his repeated call for dialogue does not eliminate the adherence to the resistance and its defensive role in countering “the Israeli enemy” in line with the national interest.

The PSP Leader also stressed the importance of reaching consensus on a comprehensive national defense strategy and not to use arms domestically.
