No schism within cabinet or reform bloc, says Manjian

State Minister Panos Manjian ruled out on Thursday any schism within the Lebanese cabinet or within the Reform and Change Parliamentary bloc.

Speaking to Voice of Lebanon radio, Manjian affirmed that cabinet members fully agreed on all major and strategic headlines. "Everything else is mere details," he argued.

Touching on Wednesday's cabinet session which finally passed a wage hike plan, despite Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas's reservations, the State Minister asserted that Nahhas would not refrain from his duties as Labor Minister.
"Prime Minister Najib Mikati asked Nahhas to sign the new wage decree, and to place transportation and education allowances within legal frames," he said.

However, Manjian expressed hope that all workers would eventually attain their rights to the fullest.
