Layyoun speaks on appointments issue
Culture Minister Gaby Layyoun voiced hope on Friday that the appointments issue will take its normal course, adding “according to the constitution, it is the justice minister who proposes a candidate’s name for the presidency of Higher Judicial Council to the cabinet. “    

Layyoun told Voice of Lebanon that “the candidate’s names are available but we are not presenting them fearing that they will be burnt.”
