Nahhas: Aoun, Bassil remarks a “political posturing”

Economy Minister Nicolas Nahhas ruled out on Monday that political disputes are affecting the cabinet’s performance.

Commenting on the electricity issue, Nahhas told Voice of Lebanon that Energy Minister Gebran Bassil has diverted from the gist of the matter requiring a discussion in this regard.

Nahhas labeled Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun and Bassil’s remarks as “political posturing”, warning of any mistake in the electricity plan that would cost the upcoming generation dearly.

Commenting on the red diesel oil scandal, Nahhas vowed to follow up on the delivery and handover process so that the defaulters could be held accountable.
