Jal El Dib Bridge will be closed for good

ISF General Directorate said in a statement that as of 5 a.m. on Wednesday the first of February 2012 Jal El Dib will be closed for good and cars will be banned from crossing it. Cars will be directed to the lanes to the right and the left of the bridge. In fact, two lanes form the Beirut highway to the left of the bridge will be open to vehicles coming from Beirut in addition to the one lane currently used at the right of the bridge.

The general directorate called on citizens to take notice and abide by the instruction of the security forces and traffic signs to facilitate circulation and prevent heavy traffic.
