Cabinet to discuss electricity issue today

The cabinet will hold a session on Tuesday afternoon at the presidential palace.

President Michel Sleiman will preside over the session that will look into the electricity issue and follow up on discussions of the 2012 budget draft law.

Sleiman earlier met with Telecom Minister Nicolas Sahnawi and reviewed steps taken by the Telecom Ministry to improve and upgrade the telecom sector.

The president also met with MP Robert Ghanem and touched on legal and judicial issues.
