Speaker Nabih Berri met Saturday with Prime Minister Tammam Salam in Ain al-Tineh, who left without making a statement.
In this regard, Ain al-Tineh sources told LBCI that Salam discussed with Berri a work mechanism to be adopted during the cabinet session, noting that the proposal included voting by two-thirds on every item on the agenda to be approved.
The same sources added that Berri supported the adoption of article 65 of the Constitution, which stipulates that basic issues would require the approval of two thirds of the ministers, while normal issues would require the approval of the half plus one.
