Ban to el-Araby: UNSC only can issue resolution on Syria

U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon told on Sunday the Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Araby that the U.N. Security Council is allowed to make a decision on the resolutions of Arab Foreign Minister in Cairo, according to spokesperson Martin Nesirky.

Nesirky said that Ban called el-Araby on Sunday and confirmed that the UNSC has the prerogative to make a decision regarding the Arab League’s demands.
