Aridi: ministerial crisis a “stored-up grudge”
Public Works and Transportation Minister Ghazi Aridi voiced his discontent on Sunday with the current state of confusion surrounding the issue of the illegitimate increase in transportation tariffs.

Aridi tied the relevant frenzy with “the flagrant and irresponsible violation carried out by Zantout Company that has increased the tariff with no recourse to the ministry of public works and transportation.”

In a statement to Al-Fajr radio station, Aridi highlighted the full right of his ministry to set the transportation tariff, warning of the moral and financial damage that could be inflicted on the drivers “due to this irresponsible move.”
While Aridi ruled out the resumption of dialogue, he described the current crisis as a “stored-up grudge”, criticizing the scathing attack launched by the Change and Reform bloc ministers’ against the president.
