Harb: I will not accept either one of transportation decrees

MP Boutros Harb described the Prime Minister’s “mutiny” as a historic precedent, since the cabinet is trying to solve a problem created by a minister.

Harb told Voice of Lebanon radio station that the issue goes beyond transportation fees decree: “Will the Parliament accept that a minister becomes stronger than the president or the premier? Will the Parliament take part in the mutiny process?”

Harb confirmed that he will not accept either of the two drafts submitted to Parliament, adding that this process will embody the presence of statelets.
