Mikati sees positive side to parliamentary crisis

PM Najib Mikati stressed on Thursday the importance of clinging to the constitution and state institutions, most importantly, clinging to the unity of the Lebanese in light of recent parliamentary developments.  

Following his closed session between Speaker Nabih Berri, Mikati said that the budget, public spending and even Nahhas’ resignation prove that the parliament is abiding by the law.

Mikati voiced hope that by March 5 the parliament’s work would have returned to normal.
