Geagea: No bargaining in $11 billion issue
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea addressed the other camp in Lebanon by saying that the LF does not want any bargaining or acquaintance in the $11 billion issue. He underlined that all sides should be treated equally under the law.

LF leader Geagea was speaking during a dinner banquet held in his honor by the Lebanese community in Qatar at the Four Seasons Hotel on Sunday, attended by Lebanese Ambassador Hassan Saad.

"They [the other camp] are creating the $11 billion problem for political blackmailing," Geagea said, noting that what they termed as the $411 billion issue does not exist at all.

Dwelling on the Arab Spring, Geagea noted that any regime that will reach power in any Arab state shall not be judged through the name of its party or beliefs but through its deeds and preservation of democracy, human rights and freedom.

Turning to the Syrian situation, Geagea voiced support to the Syrian people's right to enjoy liberties, saying "it is due time for them to live their life as they wish."

He reiterated that the solution to the Syrian situation lies in the holding of a general popular referendum under the direct supervision of the Arab League and the U.N. Security Council.
