Egypt cabinet submits resignation, president accepts - statement
Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb submitted the resignation of the cabinet on Saturday and President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi accepted it, a statement from the presidency said.

Sisi told the cabinet to remain in a caretaker role until a new cabinet was formed, the statement said.
