Energy Minister Arthur Nazarian stressed Thursday that the majority of the amounts spent to fund the Energy Ministry's projects comes from foreign sources, noting that two new power plants will soon start to operate in order to provide three additional hours of electricity.
“The improvements of the situation of the electricity in the country have been slowed down by the Syrian crisis,” he stated during a press conference held to explain the current situation, stressing that the politicians must pay the electricity bills before the people.
