kidnapped 16-year-old boy released

Ali Ahmad el-Mokh has been released after he was kidnapped on Wednesday from the Ain Bourday road in the Bekaa region.

There were no immediate reports on the circumstances of the release.

Unknown persons kidnapped the 16-year-old boy as he was driving on the aforementioned road at 11:30 p.m.

The kidnappers blocked his road and forced him out of the car at gunpoint. Then, they kidnapped him and stole his car.

It was reported that the young boy had contacted his relatives a few minutes before the incident as he noticed that he was being chased. However, he lost connection with them, thus, he was unable to ask for help.
