Is the Bekaa the new target for itinerant thieves?

Unknown persons robbed a grocery store in Riyak-Hoch Hala on Thursday and stole products estimated to be worth 500,000 LBP.

It is worth mentioning that the aforementioned store had been robbed earlier this year.

Simultaneously, a mobile store in Ali el-Nahri was robbed on Thursday night. The stolen items are estimated to be worth approximately 4 million LBP.

A grocery store in Tamnine was also robbed last night. The stolen products are estimated to be worth approximately 3 million LBP.

Preliminary investigations pointed out a black Mercedes used during the robberies. Investigations are ongoing to determine the identity of the perpetrators.
