Wahhab: Connelly is moving between offices as if she was the officials’ guardian

Arab Unification Party leader former minister Wiam Wahhab said that those who wasted public funds must be held accountable. Some ministers can abstain from attending the cabinet sessions, but the issue of the $16 billion cannot be passed, he said. In fact, some are saying that $16 billion were wasted, not only $11 billion.

“I see U.S. ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly moving from one office to another as if she was the guardian of this country’s officials.”

Wahhab said that gunmen from other countries are prohibited from entering Lebanon. It is also forbidden not to apply the law. Wahhab called on Labor Minister Chakib Kortbawi and the Supreme Judicial Council to put an end to these acts, “for the Lebanese scene must not be sacked by a group of gunmen and murderers.
