Arslan: Those gambling on the Syrian regime fall are delusional losers

Lebanese Democratic Party leader MP Talal Arslan denounced on Sunday “the terrorist acts” that Syria was subjected to.    

“The terrorists’ inability to win the support of the Syrian public and to extend their control over the Syrian villages and cities prodded them to resort to terrorist blasts in a bid to intimidate the citizens and shake security and stability,” he said.   

During his reception of popular delegations from the different regions of al-Jabal and Hasbaya, Arslan stressed that “Syria is strong and consistent despite all international and Arab attempts to destabilize the country and despite the terrorists’ attempts to sow the seeds of fear and discord within the ranks of the resistant Arab-Syrian entity that adheres to the national principles and to the support of the resistance in the face of Israel.”   

Arslan confirmed that certain Lebanese politicians who adopt the policy of incitement against Syria and who are plotting to turn the conflict into a sectarian one between Sunites and Alawites in Syria, and Sunnites and Shiites in Lebanon will witness the failure of their plots and bets.
